IMG_8346-2The 2014 Jackson Prep football season was capped off by the football awards ceremony on the evening of December 2.

After a highlight video and a message from Mr. David Wilbanks, father of fallen teammate Walker Wilbanks, the year’s awards were given.

The team MVP went to Ian McGraw, while Gene Wood got offensive MVP and Trace Lovertich reeled in defensive MVP. Several other awards were handed out and all of the seniors were recognized. The award for most valuable offensive back went to Rivers McGraw. Most valuable linebacker went to Cooper Henry, and Adam Stovall was rewarded most valuable defensive lineman. Parker Caracci was awarded most valuable receiver and Brock Newman was named most valuable offensive lineman. Kaleb Lovertich and Graham Eklund shared most valuable defensive back because the two tied in the voting.

The cheerleaders and the senior Pacers were recognized as well.
