On Friday, August 19th, the Jackson Prep football team opened up the season with a 41-28 victory against the Oak Forest Yellow Jackets. It was a very hard fought, physical game and Prep pulled away in the second half.

Junior quarterback Chance Lovertich got off to a strong start completing 7 of his 10 passes for 194 yards and a touchdown pass. Jerrion Ealy began his sophomore season rushing 15 times for 84 yards and 4 touchdowns. Peyton Greenwood and Tate Fowler led the receivers combining for 5 catches 179 yards and a touchdown. The team will take on Washington School on Friday, August 26.
