On January 31, a team from Prep’s junior high competed in the MS Regional Science Bowl at MS School for Math and Science in Columbus. This was Prep’s first appearance in this competition. The competition is a tournament style competition that challenges students knowledge of science, math, and engineering.

Fourteen 8th graders represented Prep among three teams.  They competed against 13 other schools and 25 teams from around the state. All three Prep teams performed well and one of them won the entire tournament.

The winning team won an all-expense-paid trip to Washington DC for the National Science Bowl, April 30-May 4.
