Prep Football Preview: Oak Forest

Amite, La– On October 6, 2017, the Jackson Prep Patriots will travel to Louisiana to face off against the Oak Forest Yellowjackets. Coming off a big road win at Jackson Academy, Prep looks to continue their dominance late in the season. As for Oak Forest, they head into the game coming off of a tough loss to PCS 42-28. This is a very important game for both teams, as playoff time approaches.

Oak Forest Senior quarterback Brad Lamonte has looked impressive this year so far. In last weeks game against PCS, he threw for 242 yards and one touchdown. He is a big part of the yellowjacket offense, and will be interesting to see how Prep’s secondary plans to slow him down.
