Music ushers in fall on campus
The weather was sunny and 75 on Thursday, September 29, at Jackson Prep’s Fall Fest, and the good music and coffee gave just the right feel.
Students gathered around at the amphitheater on Patriot Avenue, sipping on their sweet tea and enjoying the company of friends. Each of the ten groups performed confidently, and the audience was very supportive.
Fall Fest is an annual event put on each year by student council. Sophomore Mary Patton Murphy, a student council member who helped lead this year’s fall fest and said, “The atmosphere on Patriot Avenue was great.” Jackson Prep students are now ready to fall into the season after Thursday’s fun get-together.
