Semi-final football preview — Jackson Academy
Flowood, MS — Jackson Prep will return to the gridiron Friday as the Jackson Academy Raiders will be their first opponent of the postseason. The Raiders are coming off a first-round win over Presbyterian Christian while Prep was able to get the week off with an opening round bye.
JA was able to hit on all cylinders in their 56-7 win over the PCS Bobcats. The team put up over 522 yards of offense while they held the Bobcats to only 106 yards on the offensive front. Quarterback Kinkead Dent was once again the driving force of the Raider offense as he completed 6-10 passes for 60 yards and added another 181 yards on the ground. He also finished with two touchdowns in the game, and in order for him to lead the team to a win Friday, he will have to help his offense a rhythm that they failed to obtain in their previous matchup with the Patriots.

What to Watch for:
Raider defensive front versus Jerrion Ealy and Co.
In order for the Raiders to come out on top Friday, they will have to slow down the Patriot offense led by running back Jerrion Ealy. Ealy ran for 256 yards and three touchdowns when the team faced the Raiders during the regular season, and he will look to replicate these kinds of numbers this time around.
