New Staff Profile: Emily Garner

Ms. Emily Garner is Prep’s new director of Branding and Marketing. She is from Caledonia, Mississippi. She went to the University for Women. or “The W”, and graduated with a degree in publications and journalism. She has over 25 years of experience in communications, including holding the position as the communications director for the First Lady of Mississippi and director of marketing and marketing communications at River Oaks Hospital.

New Faculty Faces

Before coming to Prep, Ms. Garner’s most recent job was being a partner at McLaughlin Garner Group, LLC., a boutique event planning firm. Her daughter Lily Frances is a seventh grader at Prep. Ms. Garner said that she loves to “Shop online, listen to true crime podcasts, and go to concerts” in her free time. She loves how welcoming the Prep Family has been to her and the collaborative effort of the external affairs community.
