Ms. Caroline Hunter is a dedicated and passionate individual who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role as the Lower School Administrative Assistant at Prep. Caroline Hunter’s educational journey began at Prep, where she graduated in 2004. Following her time at Prep, she embarked on an academic path that led her to Mississippi State University and later to Ole Miss, where she met her future husband. She continued her studies and earned a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from the University of Montevallo. Ms. Hunter’s passion for helping others led her to work at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC), where she gained experience working with children aged 1-5 and later with stroke patients.
After taking a break to focus on her family, which includes her husband and two daughters currently attending 1st and 4th grades at Prep, Ms. Hunter returned to the education field in a different capacity. Her personal experiences as a mother and her background in helping children has equipped her to understand the needs of both teachers and students. In her role as the Lower School Administrative Assistant, Ms. Hunter is a resourceful and supportive presence. She plays a crucial role in assisting teachers by providing them with the necessary resources to enhance their teaching methods. Additionally, she handles the important responsibility of procuring and organizing supplies for the lower school, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning environment for both educators and students. Ms. Hunter’s willingness to assist with any task that requires attention underscores her dedication to the success of the school community.
Beyond her professional commitments, Ms. Hunter is an active member of the community. She attends First Baptist Jackson, and volunteers in the Junior League of Jackson, specifically the Mistletoe Marketplace, where she plays a very active role.
