Ms. Mollie Gregory is a new addition to the prep faculty this school year. She works in the lower school as a kindergarten assistant alongside Ms. Luckett. Ms. Gregory is excited to contribute to Jackson Prep.
Ms. Gregory’s connection to Prep runs deep with both of her kids, Gate (11) and Fran (12), attending the school. In fact, Ms. Gregor herself is a Prep alumna who graduated in 1994. For her, Prep is an intergenerational school that holds a special place in her heart since her mom also taught here. That is one of the many reasons why Mrs. Gregory decided to come and teach at Prep.
After her time in high school, Ms. Gregory went on to Ole Miss to get a degree in Journalism and Public Relations.
Ms. Gregory’s journey before returning to Prep is nothing short of impressive. She has lived in Ireland, worked in the capital, worked for marking agencies, and worked in tourism for Mississippi. Each of these experiences has helped to contribute to her teaching style.
When she isn’t teaching, she is probably painting or studying French. She also enjoys cooking, reading, and listening to music. One of Ms. Gregory’s favorite aspects of teaching has been all the fun celebrations that occur in the Lower School. She humorously mentioned, “We even have a disco ball that drops down from the ceiling!”
