Excitement is sizzling in the air as Chick-fil-A officially opened on Thursday, April 10, on the corner of Tree Tops and  Lakeland Drive. 

The popular fast-food chain, known for its chicken sandwiches and friendly service, welcomed its first customers with smiling faces and a whole lot of waffle fries.

Located just minutes from campus, the new Chick-fil-A is already becoming a favorite hangout for students, parents, and teachers. 

It’s the perfect place to pick up a quick breakfast before going to school, as many students have been doing.

The Chick-fil-a moved from downtown Jackson to this new location on Lakeland to improve customers for Chick-fil-A. 

“It is so close to school and I don’t have to wake up as early!” said Junior Olivia Mitchell. 

This Chick-fil-a brings people from Jackson and Flowood. While picking out this location, they wanted to alleviate some of the customers from Dogwood.
