Students Pitching in to Help “Trash” Diabetes

Jackson Prep students are making a difference this week by bringing glucose gels, tabs, monitors, and other supplies to help trash diabetes.

This year the Community Service Club is partnering with the Diabetes Foundation Of Mississippi to raise awareness and give aid to those with this sickness.

Trash cans and flyers have been placed around the school for students to drop off specific items that can be found under the Community Service section on the school website. (CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS)

Along with instruction manuals, these items will be put in plastic containers and given to schools across the state.

At the end of the week, the teacher whose trash bin has the most supplies will be “trashed” at Friday’s pep rally. Will it be Scruggs, Divine or Weeks?
