Prep Swimmers Win Again: 42 in a Row!

The 2015 MAIS swim meet was held at the Courthouse of Flowood on September 23rd. Prep won for the 42nd consecutive year.

However, this year’s victory was hard-won. Prep only came out on top by 13 points; in swim meet terms this is not a big difference. The reason for the close meet is Prep’s newest competition, St. Aloysius.

St Aloysius is a Catholic school in Vicksburg, MS. They recently joined the MAIS this year along with a few other schools.

Now Jackson Prep has more competition and it could make it more challenging to maintain the school’s decades-long winning streak. But for this year, Prep swimmers are able to take a well-deserved victory lap.
