Today, October 23 (10/23) we celebrate moles. Not the vermin sort of mole, or the epidermis kind of mole, but the basic measuring unit in chemistry. The mole, also called Avogadro’s number, is 6.02 × 10^23, and today from 6:02 AM until 6:02 PM we celebrate this number.
