On October 30, The 11th grade college prep English classes held a school-wide Literary Haunted House exhibit organized by Mr. Scott Rogers, an English teacher in his first year at Prep. The exhibit was located in the Multi Purpose Room, where students slowly inched their way through a horrifying (but educational) haunt show.
The purpose of the exhibit was to display what students learned during class about the American horror theme. This included some works of Edgar Allen Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, and Stephen King. The ninth graders were also involved as they were instructed to evaluate the exhibit.

“My birthday is on Halloween and I’m really into American horror literature,” said Mr. Rogers. “So we were going to do a short film project, but instead students wanted to make haunted houses. I thought it was a great idea.”
