Jackson, MS – The Jackson Prep Patriots rolled past the Parklane Academy Pioneers by a score of 42-14 in an exciting conference matchup. On this cold and rainy Friday night, Prep proved their dominance and perfect record against one of the best teams the conference has to offer.
The patriots got off to a fast start going up 14-0 at the end of the first quarter. A twenty-eight point second quarter stretched the Prep lead to 42-0 at halftime. The patriots held their commanding lead through the second half en route to their 42-14 victory.

Running back Jerrion Ealy accounted for almost all of Prep’s scoring as he gained 266 total yards of offense and four total touchdowns, all coming in the first half. Quarterback Chance Lovertich and wide receiver Maddox Henry added to Prep’s scoring total with one touchdown each.

Prep finishes the regular season with a perfect record of 11-0. The patriots will carry their record to the playoffs as the number one seed in the MAIS Division 1 AAAA tournament. As the number one seed, Prep will have a bye week while other teams fight for a spot to play them. Prep will play the winner of MRA and PCS on November 10 at Patriot Field.
