Madison, MS — The season may be winding down for the Patriots, but that does not mean their remaining path will be an easy one. Jackson Prep will return to the road for the first time in four weeks this Friday as they will travel to Madison Ridgeland Academy. The MRA Patriots like Prep enter this game with plenty of momentum as they are coming off of a road win at Jackson Academy.

The game should prove to be both team’s most difficult game of the season, and each school believes they can leave Friday still undefeated. After a 41-6 win last week, MRA proved that this may be there year to knock Prep out of contention for their seventh straight state title. However, for them to do this, they will have to start with a win Friday.

What to Watch for:

Jackson Prep offense versus MRA defense:

The Jackson Prep offense will be in for quite a battle versus the strong defense of MRA. In their win versus JA last week the Patriots held the Raider offense to 164 total offensive yards and only six points. They will have to replicate this success if they want to prove their strength in the conference. However, to do this, they will have to first limit Prep’s all-star running back Jerrion Ealy who rushed for over 250 yards just two weeks ago in the team’s matchup versus JA.
