Patriots beat rival Raiders 28-17

On Friday, October 4th, the Patriots took on the JA Raiders away at Jackson Academy. “The Brickyard” as many call it, was a slight disadvantage for Prep. With the help of the loud, supporting students of Prep, the visitor stands were packed in tight for the rival showdown. Matt Jones helped the Patriots put points up first with a rushing touchdown to start the game. Prep led at the end of the 1st quarter 7-0. Jones scored yet again and helped the Patriots lead 14-0 going into the half. The scores came in from both teams throughout the 3rd quarter. JA scored two touchdowns and a field goal, putting up 17 points on the scoreboard. The final score was 28-17, with the Patriots advancing to 6-1 on the season.

The Patriots travel to Greenville to take on the Washington School Generals on Friday, October, 11. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
