Prep hosts Veterans Day luncheon

Jackson Prep hosted a Veterans Day luncheon on Thursday, November 10. Seventy people signed up to attend the event.

Participating students joined their veterans at the clock tower with smiles on their faces. They were greeted near the clock tower by flag holding Pacers and cheerleaders. They moved to Patriot Avenue, and enjoyed chick-fil-a lunches.

Kennedi Pass, the senior who led this event today, said, “It was a wonderful event and was extremely fun. I was completely amazed at how many people came and supported our veterans.”

As musicians sang throughout the luncheon, the veterans were given a Prep leadership impact award as thanks to their service. The students had the opportunity to award their veterans with the medallion. Overall, this was a great event that Jackson Prep was glad to be a part of. From everyone at Jackson Prep, we would like to thank all veterans for their service and dedication to the safety and welfare of all Americans.
