The Précis Pageant, an annual Prep event where students show their talents and win awards for their outstanding qualities, was held on Monday, December 9.

Students and faculty highly anticipated Précis Pageant to find out class “Who’s Who,” as well as titles like Most Beautiful and Most Handsome for seniors, and to see students perform in front of their peers. 

Mr. Don Regan, the sponsor of the event, said, “It gives students an opportunity to express themselves and get recognition from their fellow classmates.”

Many students got up on stage and showed off their skills, including Owen Brown (11) and Millie Hogan (12), who played guitar and sang beautifully. 

Every year the “beaus” all show their personality through their amusing walk and the “beauties” have the most glamorous dresses. 

The final results for Most Beautiful and Most Handsome were seniors Millie Smith and Jesse Johnston. Eli Adams was named Mr. Jackson Prep, while Bea Birdsall was Miss Jackson Prep. 

There are many other awards. Mr. Senior Class was won by Barrett Brown (12) who said, “I’m honored that I was selected” and Millie Hogan was Miss Senior Class. 

There are awards for people’s personalities (called Who’s Who) like Most Athletic, Most Likely to Succeed and many more. All of these awards give students the recognition they deserve and shows students that their talents won’t go unnoticed.
